Jack M. Freedman is a poet, spoken word artist, and author of the up and coming chapbook, Never Lick the Spoon. He hails from Staten Island, NY and can be found performing at slams and open mics around NYC. In addition, he is an activist and advocate for issues ranging from the rights of the LGBT community to the rights of mental health recipients.
Freedman will also address the stigma he faced by his supervisor during an internship in the mental health field, his pro-weed stance, thoughts about how we can save the world with cannabis--as well as the implementation of medical cannabis for certain illnesses, including post traumatic stress.
